🏢 Unfinished Buildings 烂尾楼：
Unfinished buildings are the scars of a city, and the bottomless abyss that has destroyed the happiness of countless families and individuals.
This project is a research and distillation of the actions of the government, banks, developers and home buyers from the development of land to the collapse of houses, and tells the story of the construction of a "typical" building from an external focus narrative perspective. The interactive game allows the viewer to learn about the madness and hardships of a "bad building" while building a "bad building" with their own hands, complemented by an "instruction manual" with time as the unit of measurement, so that they can visually experience the The dynamic changes in the process of building.
烂尾楼是一个城市的伤痕，更是破灭无数家庭与个人幸福的无底深渊。随着中国房产经济的动荡，越来越多的烂尾楼矗立在城市景观中。
本项目通过对政府、银行、开发商、购房者四方从开发土地到房屋烂尾的行为进行调研与提炼，以外聚焦的叙事视角讲述一栋“典型”烂尾楼的建成始末，设计一套可拆分的纸板积木，以互动游戏的方式让观看者在了解烂尾楼疯狂乱象与辛酸内幕的同时，亲手搭建一栋“烂尾楼”，并辅以时间为计量单位的“说明书”，在翻阅“说明书”的同时直观地感受搭建过程的动态变化。
The block puzzle consists of five parts, the largest of which is the first part: the beautiful blueprint, each part tells the story of the birth of the unfinished building in sequence, allowing the user to delve into the story behind it before building.
The whole building is made up of 32 different pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. After reading about the birth of the unfinished building on the puzzle, you can build a model with your own hands and get an insight into the story and hopelessness of the building.
I chose the most representative one, Shenghao Shougang City, to walk around and observe, and used documentary photography to record every bit of the rotten buildings.
Accompanying the block puzzle is a manual instruction in which I detail the key points in time during the birth of the unfinished building in the form of a calendar with step-by-step photos on each page.
In rapid succession, the house builds and moves on its own, achieving the effect of a flip book.
